This house is a beautiful example of galician architecture and is nowadays offered as a vacational lodging in the well-known town of Arcade, an area located along the Verdugo River where it meets the Vigo estuary and is crossed by the Portuguese way of Santiago (St. James). It has the attractive roman bridges Comboa or Pontesampaio and the hermitage of Monte da Peneda and the castle of Pedro Soutomaior Madrugada.
